Why structure the question

Fit the question to the decision

Pick from options, pick several, or type a reply. The agent chooses the answer type that matches what it needs.

One push, up to 10 questions

Your agent groups related questions into one batch. You get one notification, not ten.

Answers come back clean

Tapped choices return as the options the agent offered. Typed replies return as text. No parsing a chat message.

How it works

  1. 1. The agent calls ask_questions

It sends a list of questions, each with an answer type: single-select, multi-select or free text. For one question it can call ask_question instead.

  2. 2. Your iPhone gets one push notification

Open it and the whole batch is a single thread in your inbox. Each question shows its options or a text field.

  3. 3. You answer, the agent carries on

Answer every question and send. By default the agent waits on the call and resumes with your answers.

When to use it

Choose between approaches

A coding agent weighs two ways to migrate a schema. It asks you to pick one, with the trade-offs in the question.

Confirm a list of changes

Before it edits files, the agent lists them and asks which to include. Multi-select lets you tick the ones you want.

Fill in missing context

The agent needs a name, a version or a reason it cannot guess. A free text question gets it from you.
