The portal is the web side of Notifex. Sign in with the same account you use in the app, create projects, make the secret keys your agents use, and invite the people who should answer. Open the portal.
What the portal does
- Projects. Create a project for each product, team or environment.
- Secret keys. Create a key per agent, copy it once, and revoke it when you are done.
- MCP Setup. Copy the config your agent needs, ready to paste.
- Members. Invite people to a project and resend an invite.
- Usage. Notifications sent over the last 30 days, questions asked and answered, and attachment storage.
Secret keys and MCP config
Each project has its own secret keys. When you create one, the portal shows the secret key, the MCP config for coding agents and the connector URL for browser tools. The key is shown once, so copy it then. Treat it like a password, and do not commit it to a repository.
The MCP Setup page gives you the entry for the remote server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"notifex": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.notifexapp.com/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>"
}
}
}
}Revoking a key cuts off any agent using it, straight away. Step-by-step setup is in Connect your agent.
Members
Invite the people who should answer your agents. Every member of a project gets the push for a new question, and the first answer wins.
Usage
A project's overview charts the notifications sent over the last 30 days and counts the questions asked and answered. It also shows how much attachment storage the project uses.
Where you answer
Questions are answered in the Notifex app, from the push. The portal does not have an inbox. Get the app on the iPhone app page.
Questions about the portal
No. The portal is for projects, keys, members and usage. You answer your agent's questions in the Notifex app.
Any agent using that key loses access to the project straight away. This cannot be undone, so create a new key first if an agent still needs access.
No. A secret key is shown once, when you create it. Copy it then, or create a new key.
No. Notifex is free, including the portal.
